Positive change can happen and the best day to start is today.
*Due to a nearly full case load I am only able to accept new clients for late morning or early afternoon appointments. Due to high volume of calls if you do not hear from me in a few days please call back as I always intend to offer respect in your search for the right fit. Please note I will be out on maternity leave from mid Jan-April first and coverage will be provided to active clients during my brief leave. If you are seeking clinical supervision please check back in April!
As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Board Certified Art Therapist I offer a combination of counseling and art therapy services. Using the strengths you already have and by taking the time to learn new coping techniques you can improve your daily life. My focus is on working with teens and adults on strengthening identity, building relaxation techniques, promoting mindful living for reducing stress, managing anger, improving self-esteem and body-image, recovering from trauma, coping with grief and loss, adjusting to change, and managing depression, mood swings, or anxiety.
With an integrated approach using Cognitive Behavioral and Strength Based Therapies we can start to explore how the way you think affects the way you feel and act. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy has been shown to be the most effective approach to overcoming depression and anxiety. Art Therapy is an excellent nonverbal outlet for processing self-image, trauma, and grief. I provide all of these approaches and have personally seen so many accept help and taken that moment to be the first step in making positive change in their life.
If you are looking for someone to help you start to make positive changes in your life please email me at email@example.com for scheduling or questions.
